Mary Buckman is "Earthbound" at SDSG
Hello All,
San Diego Sculptors Guild is at it again. SDSG is proud to present Mary Buckman's exhibit, "EARTHBOUND", opening on Saturday, September 1, 2012 in Studio 36 Gallery, at Spanish Village Art Center.
The SDSG, as always, is ongoing and actively promoting the many talented sculptors in their membership, as well as furthering public awareness for the Arts. Mary's exhibit promises to be another spectacular event, so you don't want to miss it.
Working predominately in clay and bronze, Mary's sculptures center around the beauty and complexity of the human form, and how it relates to "her feelings about nature and the human condition".
An evening of culture and art appreciation with wine and cheese... It doesn't get much better than that. Join Mary Buckman and the San Diego Sculptors Guild in the discovery and exploration of "EARTHBOUND". We'll see you all there.

Dog Days of Summer at SDSG in Balboa Park
Hello All,
Long time, no write... Well, I am currently on art research sabbatical, and writing on the road, so to speak. Thanks to my friend Sergey Gornushkin, who keeps me informed of happenings at the San Diego Sculptors Guild, I can send you this invitation to visit Spanish Village Art Center for a great event. You are all invited to come out on Sunday, August 26, 2012 for the annual fun event of the summer.
What better reason to come than to meet those wonderful and needy pooches just longing for love and a new nurturing home. It's never too late to adopt or become a new owner. These beauties will just love you for it, and probably give you a good "licking" to boot.
Great food, ice cream desserts, musical entertainment, skate performances and taking a new friend home with you... What more could you ask of "Dog Days of Summer"? So, come on down to the Village and "Cool Off" with San Diego Sculptors Guild and "man's best friend".
Woof, woof. I'd say we've got Rover's vote on that one!
