Janine Free and Ron Tatro at Gallery 21
Hello All,
There's still time enough to see this fantastic presentation of photography by Janine Free and Ron Tatro at Gallery 21 in Spanish Village Art Center, located at 1770 Village Place, San Diego, California in Balboa Park. The show runs May 8, 2012 through May 20, 2013 from 11:00 - 4:00 p.m. daily.
Janine Free is one of the most amazing photographers that I have ever met, and this year Ron Tatro joins her in another gala exhibition of abstract imagery that will tease the mind and please the eye.
Of her work, Janine says, "This will be the fourth annual show for me at Gallery 21. My new photographs will have a more abstract view of the "mannequin reflections" body of work I have worked on for the past six years."

Ron's works mainly encompass digital drawings, most of which are self portraits. Speaking of his work, Ron says, "The human head shape is universally recognizable. Artists abstract it, reduce it to its most basic shape and depict it with exacting detail. The twelve drawings in this show represent my interest in the head as a point of departure to explore compositional variety and various ways to make a drawing. I am interested in exploring as many possibilities as I can to make my drawings."

So, get yourselves down to Gallery 21 this weekend and meet Janine Free and Ron Tatro. I promise you won't be disappointed. I'll be stopping by myself this afternoon. A visit with Janine is always an enlightening and delightful experience. And, their combined works of art photography are a wonder to behold. Something all of you don't want to miss. See you there.
